Although IDEA says that transition planning is only required for students with disabilities starting the year they will turn 16, we know that there are many things that can be done starting at a young age to prepare students for life after graduation. This session will include an overview of Transition Planning expectations in Calhoun County, samples of resources to help achieve transition goals as well as provide an overview of services and agencies that can support students with reaching their future goals.
