Schools do not struggle because they lack ideas, initiatives, or dedicated educators. More often, improvement stalls when there is a gap between what we intend to do and what consistently happens in classrooms. Drawing from experiences leading five Michigan Reward Schools, including a school that moved from the bottom 5% to Reward School status, this session explores how leaders can create the conditions for meaningful adult reflection, collective responsibility, and sustained improvement. Participants will examine practical strategies for strengthening feedback loops, aligning adult actions, and turning plans into measurable results for students.
