In today's multicultural and multilingual classrooms, it's imperative to recognize and celebrate linguistic diversity. This proposal advocates for a conference focused on the significance of teaching African American English (AAE), code-switching, and code-meshing to Black boys in schools. By understanding and embracing their linguistic heritage, educators can empower Black boys to succeed academically, socially, and culturally.
